The Challenge
Nuttall was in the early stages of transforming their office space and needed an HVAC system that could accommodate their evolving layout while ensuring optimal comfort for employees. The system also needed to blend aesthetically with the industrial-style design of the refurbished space.
Key challenges included:
- Ensuring energy efficiency and ease of control for multiple indoor units.
- Coordinating installation around other trades during a major refurbishment.
- Maintaining a sleek, modern aesthetic to complement the office design.
Our Solution
To meet these requirements, we installed:
✅ Two Mitsubishi Electric VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) Systems – Connected to 17 indoor units, providing zoned heating and cooling.
✅ A Mix of Wall-Mounted & Cassette Units – Optimised airflow distribution for different areas of the office.
✅ A Central Control System – Enabling the client to schedule operation, apply restrictions to individual room controllers, and manage the three VAM units, which supply fresh air to the open-plan space.
✅ Modern Installation Aesthetics – All pipework and services were installed on cable trays, which were powder-coated black by the client for a sleek, industrial look. The black fascias from Mitsubishi Electric further enhanced the contemporary feel of the workspace.

Project Outcome
Our dedicated team of direct MAC engineers successfully delivered the project on time, ensuring a smooth handover for the final furnishing phase in January 2025.
